Meet the Yellow Springs Chiropractic Team

Hello, my name is Mary Duckwall. Yes, I am Dr. Duckwall's wife, and I have been his office manager since he began his practice in Yellow Springs in 1977. Having been in practice for 30 years has given me the rare advantage of seeing the long-term benefits of chiropractic care. We are still treating patients who began care with us in 1978, and we are caring for the children and grandchildren of some of our early patients. There is nothing more gratifying than knowing we have helped hundreds of people gain health and maintain health through these years. I look forward to meeting you at our office!

Hi, I'm Linda Shook, a native of Yellow Springs. I have three adult children and four grandchildren who all live close by. I retired from Wright State University in 2004 and came to work for Dr. Duckwall as a receptionist shortly thereafter. On my days off I like to shop, shop, shop, eat out (I never turn down an invitation) and I love music. Before working for Dr. Duckwall, I have been a patient of his for over ten years!

Dr. Duckwall Asks some important questions of interest to Yellow Springs residents - Chiropractor Yellow Springs Dr. Duckwall Asks...

What does a chiropractic adjustment do?
Chiropractic adjustments give your spine a little "nudge" at the right place, right time and the right direction so your body can use that energy to "right" itself. With a schedule of consistent chiropractic visits, a new, healthier spinal pattern emerges.
What happens if you stop chiropractic care when you feel better?
Many Yellow Springs folks recognize that this predisposes you to a relapse. Chiropractors know that muscles and ligaments supporting the spine don't fully heal until after symptoms subside.
